Renault reveals final colour scheme

Renault has revealed its definitive 2011 black-and-gold colour scheme, as it embarks on a new era with title sponsor Lotus. Following the tie-up with the sports car manufacturer last year, amid plans for Lotus to become shareholders in the team, Renault is switching to the colours that were made famous by the British marque during the late 1970's and early 1980's.

Domenicali unsure about rear wing rules

Ferrari boss Stefano Domenicali says he is unsure the moveable rear wing rules will be able to boost overtaking in 2011. As from this season, drivers will be to adjust their car's rear wing from the cockpit in order to have more top speed and improve the chances of overtaking. The system will only be available to the driver when he is is less than one second behind a rival at pre-determined areas of the circuit.

Motorbase to run Jackson, Griffin

Mat Jackson will lead the Motorbase Performance line-up in the British Touring Car Championship after opting to stick with the Kent-based squad for a second season. The 29-year-old will drive one of the team's three Ford Focus ST machines, while another will be raced by series newcomer Liam Griffin. Jackson, who had been in talks with RML about a drive with the works Chevrolet squad, opted to remain with Motorbase because of the potential he sees within the squad
