Brazil Sunday quotes: Mercedes

Nico Rosberg - 6th: "I had a strong start today and when Michael pitted ahead of me, I had clear air and was able to make up positions thanks to our good strategy. > From then, it got a little chaotic but the team made a great call to get me on new rubber when the safety car came out.

Roush-Fenway Drivers Coming Up Short Again in Chase

A year ago, two drivers of the Roush-Fenway Racing team found their way to NASCAR's illustrious Chase for the Sprint Cup.

They finished rather unspectacularly.

Greg Biffle held the banner highest for the proud Ford operation, winding up seventh after the season's final race at Homestead-Miami Speedway last November. His teammate, Carl Edwards, finished eleventh.

Neither garnered a win during that 2009 campaign -- one that seemed to start in quite the fashion with Matt Kenseth's sweep of the season's first two races, including the Daytona 500.

Fortunes seemed to be in the organization's favor this season after all three of those drivers -- Biffle, Edwards and Kenseth -- made it into the top 12 at the Chase cutoff point in September.

Jeep Wrangler to get Pentastar V6 power in 2012

It looks like the Jeep Wrangler family will be the next Chrysler bloodline to benefit from the company's excellent new Pentastar V6. Sergio Marchionne, Chrysler CEO, broke the news during the company's third-quarter financial announcement. The new powerplant will likely pack somewhere between 283 and 305 horsepower depending on the tune, and will make for a substantial bump in grunt over the current 202-pony 3.8-liter V6 currently available in the Wrangler.

Still, it will be a good long while before buyers can sink their teeth into the new engine. Marchionne made it clear that the Pentastar won't be available under the Wrangler hood until the 2012 model year.

Vettel win sets Abu Dhabi showdown

Sebastian Vettel ensured that the title fight will go to Abu Dhabi by beating Mark Webber and Fernando Alonso to victory at Interlagos today. The German took the lead at the start of the race and never allowed Red Bull team-mate Webber a look in. Webber's second place clinched the constructors' title for Red Bull, but Fernando Alonso's third limited his loss in the points table

Three colors available for U.S.-spec Fiat 500

Fiat 500 in Rosso - Click above for high-res image gallery

Next week's Los Angeles Auto Show marks the official debut of the America-bound Fiat 500, and we'd be liars if we said we weren't immensely excited for the pint-sized hatch's arrival here on our shores.

Fiat has now posted on its Facebook page the three colors available for the first batch of 500s, called Prima Edizione, slated for consumption here in the United States. Rosso (red), Bianco (white) and Grigio (grey) will all be on hand for the first round of Fiat customers, and we're eager to see the rest of the color choices that will come our way shortly thereafter.

All three colors are indeed flattering on the too-cute 500, though we're rather partial to the deep hue of Rosso or the understated Grigio. Of course, there's nothing wrong with the Bianco that we've come to love from afar all these years. See all three for yourself in the gallery, below.
